Dear Account Holder,

Please pay close attention to this email, as it contains several important reminders related to the HealthSavings' custodial bank transition on September 1.

First and foremost, you will be happy to know that there's no paperwork to complete for this transition.

Rather, most account functions, like setting up authorized signer(s), beneficiary(ies), investment elections and other account information, can be handled through our new member portal

Feel free to set up your new account at your leisure between now and August 25, or any time after September 1.

Member Portal is Available

You may access your new account at https://hsaa.ipx-sys.com/Login.aspx. To log in, enter your temporary username (your 9-digit Social Security number; no punctuation) and temporary password (your 8-digit birthdate; MMDDYYYY; no punctuation). For your security, you must change your username and password during your first log in.

We will automatically transfer your funds to your new account on September 1.

Remember, setting up your new account is a multi-step process that can be completed at your leisure. Steps include:

Participant Registration

Change your username and password and set up your security settings. If you would like to receive electronic statements and other account notifications via email, check the "Yes" box next to "Receive email notifications?" We do not share your email address with partners for marketing purposes. (View our privacy policy.)

Account Enrollment

Don't worry. You're still enrolled. You're simply experiencing the same process our new customers will experience when they enroll for the first time -- except that we've already pre-filled some of your information!

Also, this step will require that you log in again with your newly created username and password. Simply enter your new username in the box for "Account Number / Username." Remember, your username and password are case sensitive.

After you log in, follow the steps provided to set up your account. For additional information regarding your online account, view our FAQs.

Limit Account Activity August 18-31

For a smoother transition, we recommend limiting your account activity, including check, debit card and online transactions, during the last two weeks of August.

Automatic Contributions Stop August 21

If you have personal automatic contributions set up in your HSA, your last contribution for August must be set up in our existing online system before 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 20 to be processed by Friday, August 21.

Also, if you have contributions set up in your personal checking or savings account that are sent to your HSA, please contact your banking institution before August 21 to stop these contributions.

NOTE: When you log into the new member portal, you may set up one-time or recurring (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) contributions to occur after September 1.

Online Withdrawals Stop August 21

Last but not least, online withdrawals will stop on August 21. Remember, if you incur qualified healthcare expenses during the transition, save your receipts! You may reimburse yourself from your new account starting on September 1.

New Debit Cards Arrive August 26-31

If you currently have a blue HealthSavings debit card, please watch the mail for your new, gray debit card, which will be mailed in an unmarked envelope from Richmond, VA during the last week of August.

We will automatically mail debit cards to primary account holders. To order debit card(s) for your authorized signer(s), simply log into your member portal, set up your authorized signer(s), check the box next to "Yes, I would like a card for my authorized signer" and click save.

No Account Access August 26-31

There will be no access to accounts or investments between August 26-31 as we transfer data and update our systems. In addition, we ask that you do not send wire transfers or checks during this timeframe to avoid any complications.

You will regain access to your account after the conversion is completed on September 1.
