Limit Account Activity August
For a smoother transition, we recommend limiting your account
activity, including check, debit card and online transactions,
during the last two weeks of August.
Automatic Contributions Stop
If you have personal automatic
contributions set up in your HSA, your last contribution for
August must be set up in our existing online system before
2 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 20 to
be processed by Friday, August 21.
Also, if you have contributions
set up in your personal checking or savings account that are sent
to your HSA, please contact your banking institution before August
21 to stop these contributions.
NOTE: When you log into the new member portal, you
may set up one-time or recurring (e.g., weekly, monthly,
quarterly, etc.) contributions to occur after September 1.
Online Withdrawals Stop August 21
Last but not least, online
withdrawals will stop on August 21. Remember, if you incur
qualified healthcare expenses during the transition, save your
receipts! You may reimburse yourself from your new account
starting on September 1.
New Debit Cards Arrive
If you currently have a blue HealthSavings debit card,
please watch the mail for your new, gray debit card, which will
be mailed in an unmarked envelope from Richmond, VA during the
last week of August.
We will automatically mail debit cards to primary
account holders. To order debit card(s) for your authorized
signer(s), simply log into your member portal, set up your
authorized signer(s), check the box next to "Yes, I would
like a card for my authorized signer" and click save.
No Account Access August
There will be no access to accounts or investments between August
26-31 as we transfer data and update our systems. In addition, we
ask that you do not send wire transfers or checks during this timeframe
to avoid any complications.
You will regain
access to your account after the conversion is completed on
