HealthSavings Administrators Appoints Industry Veterans Stewart Gooding, CFP®, Danny Streiff and Mark Berman to National Sales Team

HealthSavings Administrators announced today that three industry veterans have been appointed to their national sales team. HealthSavings is among the top 1% of the nation’s health savings account (HSA) investment companies in accounts and assets.

Stewart Gooding, CFP® will lead the sales team as National Sales Director. Gooding recently served as National Sales Director for the Auto Rollover IRA Program with FPS Trust. Prior to joining FPS Trust, he spent more than 20 years in the retirement industry, most recently as Regional Sales Director for Third Party Distribution of Not-for-Profit Plans with AIG/VALIC. Gooding also served as Senior Vice President of PLANSPONSOR’s Client Services and Pathfinder Divisions.

“I’m thrilled to lead the HealthSavings national sales effort,” said Gooding. “My work with plan sponsors over the years has emphasized the importance of including investment HSAs as part of a comprehensive retirement planning and benefits package. I’m excited to have the opportunity to spread the word.”

Danny Streiff will head up National Platform Development, working with banks, record keepers, third party administrators (TPAs) and wealth management firms on the development of customizable, private label investment HSAs. Streiff is the former Founder and President of Matrix Communications Technologies (now part of Broadridge). He started MCT in 2003 and sold it to Matrix Financial Solutions in late 2007. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at VWISE.

“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity,” said Streiff.  “Banks, record keepers, TPAs and wealth management firms need solutions to their rapidly expanding investment HSA needs, and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to deliver.”

Mark Berman will head up National Business Development, working with registered investment advisors (RIAs) to provide customized investment HSA solutions to their clients. Berman recently worked in business development for Handler Investment Consulting Group, a Raymond James® office in Beverly Hills. Prior to that, he served as Regional Director for Great West Financial and Sales Director – Vice President for M&I Institutional Trust.

“I’m excited to join the HealthSavings team and leverage my experience in the retirement industry,” said Berman. “Advisors are looking for ways to provide additional value to their clients, and their clients need their HSA investment advice. I’m looking forward to providing solutions that help advisors and their clients save for retirement healthcare expenses.”

Kirk Hoewisch, President of HealthSavings, added, “We’re assembling a great team — one that’s focused on the investment and retirement benefits of HSAs. This is an exciting time for our company, and I’m looking forward to expanding our national reach.”
