IRS Announces 2019 Contribution & HDHP Deductible Limits

The Internal Revenue Service has announced the 2019 HSA contribution limits.
 

2019 HSA Contribution Limits

Single: $3,500 (up from $3,450 in 2018)

Family: $7,000 (up from $6,900 in 2018)

Catch-up Contribution for HSA owners age 55 and older: $1,000 (no change from 2018)
 

2019 High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) Limits

HDHP Minimum Deductible for self-only coverage: $1,350 (no change from 2018)
HDHP Minimum Deductible for family coverage: $2,700 (no change from 2018)

HDHP Maximum Deductible for self-only coverage: $6,750 (up from $6,650 in 2018)
HDHP Maximum Deductible for family coverage: $13,500 (up from $13,300 in 2018)

These updated limits are effective for calendar year 2019.
